IMT update.

Since the 13 March 2024 /FIRST ISSUE /No. of Sheet 39, according to the newly released

Law No. 5094 “Strengthening the Public University – Framework for the operation of non-profit

branches of foreign universities and other provisions” by the Greek Government and the Ministry

of Education, IMT Msc as part of the Department of Computer Science, has been shifted from

the International Hellenic University to the Democritus University of Thrace

Also, according to the GOVERNMENT GAZETTE OF THE HELLENIC REPUBLIC, on

the 28 March 2024/SECOND ISSUE/No. of Sheet 1956, No. DUTh/DDK/36536/3943 (2), it has

been announced the “Automatic transfer of the staff of the Departments, Institutes and the Branch

of the International Hellenic University, serving in Kavala, Drama and Didymoteicho, to the

Democritus University of Thrace”

Therefore, IMT MSc is officially part of the Democritus University of Thrace, keeping all of its already established Academic features.
