A graduate student who due to a significant barrier,  cannot attend the courses of the Program, may apply to the Coordinating Committee for a leave of absence for one semester and a corresponding extension of his studies. Suspension of study can be given for a maximum of two semesters, consecutive or not.

Likewise, upon a substantiated application of a student endorsed by the Supervisor, an extension of one semester may be given for the completion of the Thesis Project. The extension can be renewed for one semester.
